Gaitana calls for international cooperation
On January, 20th Gaitana - famous Afro-Ukrainian singer, composer, socially active personality, official Friend of Euro 2012, one of the most outstanding stars in Ukraine, who constantly tours across the USA, Russia and Europe – performed at the concert devoted to the 20th anniversary of Ukraine-US diplomatic relations.
The concert was held at Zhovtnevy palats (October Palace). Due to the celebration many former and active Ukrainian and American politics were gathered together. Within this concert Gaitana presented two English premieres – lyric composition “My everything” and inflammatory song “Be my guest”. She also sang her famous hit “Tantzi” (Dances).
“I’m unbelievably happy when I’m invited to perform in front of the international audience… I enjoy signing for all nations. This time I sang my songs in honour of the anniversary of Ukraine-US diplomatic relations. The songs were chosen on purpose… Both Ukrainian and English compositions were performed at the celebration. It was a symbol of nations’ cooperation. I sang my new, inflammatory song “Be my guest”, with the help of which I would like to call people from the whole world for international unity. Invite our country and be our guests”, -says the singer.
Gaitana is called an international artist, who actively cooperates with European, American sound producers, artists and performs her songs in front of any international audience.
Remember that in 2006 Gaitana was awarded the “Showbiz Award” for best European Star. The representative of the international project “GlobalOne” – former sound producer of Michael Jackson and Christina Aguilera – Rob Hoffman chose Gaitana to participate in this program as a singer, who maintains international standards. Moreover, during her career Gaitana has been “the voice and the face” of such famous brands as Coca-Cola, Samsung, UMC, and KyivStar. She one of the first artists in Ukraine wrote a set of songs-anthems for Euro 2012 (“Ukraine! Budmo!”, “Viva Europe”, “You are the champion” etc.). Within Annual Charitable American Independence Day Picnic, organized by American Chamber of Commerce in 2011 Gaitana was officially named as Friend of Euro 2012. On November, 11th Gaitana, who is a guest of honour, official Friend of Euro 2012 welcomed first guests from Germany with her song “Ukraine! Budmo!”, who came to participate in friendly match Ukraine v Germany.
In the nearest future artist is going to release English album, which was created by the best musicians and sound producers, who collaborate with the most outstanding stars of the world - Narada Michael Walden (Jeff Beck, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey), Eric Daniels (Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson), Rob Hoffman (Christina Aguilera), Robert dumper (Kenny G). The album was recorded in San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles.
“I want the whole world discovers Ukraine, feels our hospitality, kindness and sincerity of our nation, beauty of nature and signing hearts. I would like every Ukrainian wasn’t limited in opportunities, so that we could travel, communicate, be friends with other nationalities without problems. I create my music to be understandable and near everybody’s heart. I wish all people in the whole world became friends so everyone could fly and travel to each other, share their experience and sing. It would be fantastic! Sincere international friendship is a guarantee of success, happiness and prosperity of our world”, - says Gaitana.
