Gaitana and Dity Svitla gave a charity concert for kids
Finally the album of children's songs from Gaitana has been released. Presentation of the CD «Kookaburra» took place yesterday in Lesya Ukrainka theatre.
Finally the album of children's songs from Gaitana has been released. Presentation of the CD «Kookaburra» took place yesterday in Lesya Ukrainka theatre.«Kookaburra» is the collection of songs that are devoted to some special themes for kids. This time Gaitana came forward not only like an author of compositions but also as co-producer of the album: during the press-conference a singer confessed, that she was exited more than ever.
Gaitana: «I don’t know why, but today I worry more than ever presenting «adult» albums. It is the real fairy-tale! I am very pleased, that «Kookaburra» will present songs for children».
The press-conference was followed by the charity concert, which was initiated and organized by «Kyivstar» company. The Ukrainian mobile operator brought children-orphans from the different cities of Ukraine to this concert. Exactly for them Gaitana and Dity Svitla (singer gave such a symbolical name to children which took part in the recording of album) created the real fairy-tale on the stage. Every song performance of the album «Kookaburra» have been accompanied by the bright staging with participation of children dance studio A6. Children were of different age from 6 to 14 years.
Some of them performed on the stage for the first time and Gaitana constantly cheered little singers up. But as soon as kids appeared on the stage – all their fears were faded away, and the real show begun! The special admiration of public was caused by combined performances of Gaytana and kids – a singer looked so happy and shining, that did not leave anybody indifferent. Gaitana’s implementation of the lullaby «Zsypai, malyshka, zasypai malсhishka» was incredibly touching: «it makes hearts melt» – this is the best to describe listener’s senses during this magic lullaby song.
Mood of the album «Kookaburra» in general has something in common with lyric music. Most songs are merry and dynamic child's stories about New Year, fir-tree, animals, vacations, school and Birthday and other holidays.
After the concert every kid got gifts – sweets and, certainly, CD’s «Kookaburra».
Even the cover of album carries a positive: funny birdie, bright blue sky and heap of children which holding by the hands, – this is how children and their parents will see this album in music shops.
To remind, an album «Kookaburra» is the common project of such companies as Lavina Music and «Kyivstar». Ukrainian musical lable and mobile operator, known by their active position regarding social problems of Ukrainian society. By the way, song «Teplo sliv», which Gaytana wrote to support the action «Spilkuvannya zarady maibutnyogo». Actually, this song had inspired singer to create the album of children songs.
