Yesterday in the hotel Hyatt an inauguration ball took place in honor to the new President of the USA -  Barack Obama. As it was reported before, Gaitana was the only invited star.

Yesterday in the hotel Hyatt an inauguration ball took place in honor to the new President of the USA -  Barack Obama. As it was reported before, Gaitana was the only invited star. For multi –national audience the Ukrainian singer performed her one hour program and was surprised, how openly and warmly guests, among which were many high officials from Ukraine, USA and other countries, took her songs.
Guests were not just dancing starting from the first till the last song but singing all songs as well. As it appeared, someone even studies Ukrainian thanks to Gaitana’s songs. American guy and his Ukrainian fiancée who approached Gaitana to get her signature told the singer that the guy started learning Ukrainian after he first heard song “Shaleniy”. His first Ukrainian words were: “pyi mene, izh mene, shaleniy” (take me, taste me, and get crazy about me).
Gaytana: «That was so touching. There were so many different people there of different nationalities and all of them were singing together with me and danced! I got such a pleasure from the performance, such a feedback! And when I was told, that one guy’s started learning Ukrainian because of my songs – it’s just impossible to express, how great it is to hear these words..»
Audience was so excited that didn’t let Gaitana leave the stage until she performed an encore!
