We are delighted to announce the release of Gaitana’s new single ‘Lately’. One of the brightest and most successful Ukrainian artists to date, Gaitana has become a household name since her signing her record deal in 2003. The single, ‘Dva vikna’ proved to be a massive success released both in Ukrainian and English.

2007 saw Gaitana’s single “Shaleniy” topping the national charts for 9 straight weeks, and the song’s music video solidified Gaitana’s status as the country’s most dynamic and trailblazing artist. Her third and latest album “Taynye zhelaniya” (“Secret Desires”) became a revelation. The album revealed a new side of Gaitana and brought her millions of new fans, along with Ukraine’s prestigious “Golden Record” award for album sales.
Having recorded a new song ‘Lately’, the new track is released through Global One Music - a ground breaking project, bringing together over 35 of the most talented artists from 5 continents, recording specially written songs for simultaneous releases in their own languages around the world. Gaitana will sit side by side in the project with some remarkable platinum selling artists, and has also completed a ‘Multimix’ version with several other international artists.  As a further creative component in the Global One mix, Raindance is running a world wide competition for independent film-makers to win the chance of making the official ‘Lately’ video for international release*.
Gaitana ‘s version of ‘Lately’ will be released in April. Collaborating with Gaitana is rapper, Stas Konkin.
Global One Music is the first international project of its kind in music history, joining together a superstar collective. Other international artists include China’s Wei Wei, India’s superstar Sonu Niigaam, Daniela Mercury from Brazil and UK’s Liz McClarnon.
