Gaitana is finished with dresses.
This spring Gaitana decided to give away all her romantic dresses to relatives in the Congo, replacing them with leather clothes and metallic accessories. The clothes left over from her music video shoot will be donated to charity.
“In spring everybody is usually feeling more romantic, but I feel different,” said Gaitana. “I feel the need for metallic elements, new sunglasses, and leather trousers. Changes inside lead to changes in my life and music. I even wrote a new dynamic and electrifying song, where I expressed emotions that crept up unexpectedly.”
Recently, Gaitana wrapped up shooting the song’s music video. In it she presents a new style and a new way of performing. Designer and stylist Natasha Kamennska worked with her on her new image, and the combination of her powerful emotions and a willingness to change created a new, never-before-seen Gaitana.
“This time we decided to show Gaitana from another other side. In the video for “Love Me” she shows up as a strong and confident woman who knows how to achieve her goal. To show the best of what we’ve designed, we dressed Gaitana in a corset (a symbol of recollection), leather trousers, and high heels (20 cm). We’ve also changed her hairstyle – instead of her romantic, curly hair Gaitana has a gorgeous long tail - and of course jewelry, beaming and bright,” said Kamennska.
The new and unexpected Gaitana will appear in the video for “Love Me” very soon!
