On May 26, 2009, Gaitana visited the University of Ukraine during the Festival of Creation. The university was opened for young people of different preparatory levels, different social backgrounds, and different levels of health - 30 % of the students are handicapped.

Being the honored guest of the festival, Gaitana met with Mr. Talanchuk, President of the university and she opened the ceremonies. The goal of the Festival was to foster the development and creative capabilities of young people with special needs, and bring the issue to the attention of the public.

Gaitana told the assembled students many interesting facts about herself and about her career. She tried to explain the philosophy of her life and appealed to the participants of the festival:

“Student’s years are very interesting and bright. You have to use them with maximum efficiency. Value life, value those alongside you and never break away from your dreams! Your creation is the best possibility for self-expression,” said Gaitana.
